John’s wife, Sarah, is also a veterinarian. They have a son, Nate, who enjoys visiting his parents at work. Their pets include a guide dog in training from Guide Dogs for the Blind named Silvie, 2 cats named Kit-Kat and Me-Mow, and a Kenyan sand boa named Sandy. In his free time, Dr. Gonda enjoys photography, hiking, travel, and scuba diving. His award winning underwater photography can be seen decorating the walls of our hospital. Dr. Gonda works closely with three Greyhound rescue organizations – Greysave, Greyhounds Pets of America and Homestretch. Having owned a former racing greyhound, Bellini, who passed away in 2010, it is a cause that is dear to Dr. Gonda’s heart.
