Dr. Meisels founded the hospital as a general practice in 1977 renting a 2,500 SF space in a shopping center. In 1996 a second floor was added to the building to accommodate the rapid growth of the practice. The size was increased to 7,800 SF. In November 2008, the practice, having once again outgrown its building, relocated to a brand new state of the art 37,344 square foot facility.
In 2012 Coral Springs Animal Hospital was named the “Veterinary Economics’ Hospital of the Year”.
