CEO, Farient Advisors
Robin Ferracone is CEO of Farient Advisors, a performance advisory and strategic compensation firm. Previously she was at Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc., a global professional services firm in the areas of risk, strategy and human capital. At Marsh McLennan, she was President of the Global Human Capital Business, domiciled in 40 offices around the world, including Latin America, Brazil, Europe, India, and China.
A Harvard Business School graduate, Robin was named to the prestigious 2014 NACD Directorship 100, her fourth time receiving this award, making her one of the most influential people in corporate governance and in the boardroom. As the author of the book "Fair Pay, Fair Play: Aligning Executive Performance and Pay," she is highly regarded for her expertise in performance measurement and linking executive compensation with corporate strategy. She is also an experienced director having served on a number of boards, including her current appointments on the board of two Oaktree Capital mutual funds and Duke University, where she earned her BA in Economics and Management Science, and her prior appointment on the board of PayScale, Inc. (a private equity backed cloud-based compensation data and software company). She also served as a Non-Executive Chairman of A Breed Apart Veterinary Centers, which was sold to VCA, Inc.
Robin is the author of numerous articles, including a regular Forbes contributor, a frequent presenter for prominent organizations, and testified before a Congressional sub-committee in Washington, D.C. regarding the salary of the President of the United States.
She resides in the Los Angeles area with her two cats.
