Claims Analyst - Quality Assurance

How long have you worked at Trupanion?
After graduating from Washington State University in 2011, I joined the front office team at Companion Animal Hospital in Bellevue and then moved on to become a Referral Coordinator at Animal Surgical Clinic of Seattle. I had heard so many great things about a local medical insurance company for dogs and cats, and decided to make the move to Trupanion on April 16th, 2013.

What’s your role at the company?
I have worn several different hats since starting at Trupanion, but I am currently a Claims Analyst on the Quality Assurance team.

Do you have any pets? If so, what kind and what are their names?
Just one for right now: Nemo, the most handsome, spoiled, and stubborn Boston Terrier in the world.

My favorite thing(s) to do is/are:
I’m mostly a homebody but I do enjoy being outdoors (camping, hiking, etc.), hot yoga, and antique mall shopping.

If I could go anywhere in the world it would be:
The Palace of Versailles

What I like about working at Trupanion:
The people, culture, and benefits are awesome. There are amazing opportunities for growth and the work is both challenging and rewarding. Working with other people that share my passion for animals and being able to use my education and skills to play a part in helping pets every day are the best things about working here.
